Responsibilities:

  • Developing and managing a product build and automated product deployment infrastructure for an agile project; applying the continuous integration process;
  • Developing and managing a patch build infrastructure;
  • Managing and enhancing a source control system;
  • Introducing new technologies and techniques to improve CM processes and address pain points.
  • Interacting with project teams and customer technical staff;
  • Provides guidance and mentoring to less-experienced staff members
  • Interfacing with the Software Configuration Management Center of Excellence

Qualifications:

  • 8 or more years’ experience as either a software engineer or system configuration analyst.
  • Advanced ability to work with software build automation tools.
  • Demonstrated ability to tailor CM procedures and processes to work in an Agile project.
  • Advanced understanding of J2EE, WebSphere, AIX, UNIX.
  • Advanced understanding of relational databases.
  • Demonstrated IT industry knowledge in the State and Local sector.
  • Advanced understanding of modern SCM (software configuration management) processes and procedures.
  • Advanced understanding of software development and project methodologies, to include Agile.
  • Experience on multiple full release project life cycles, to include COTS engagements.
  • Understanding of project management methods and processes to define, plan, cost, resource, track and ensure the accomplishment of assigned goals for medium to large business unit level projects.

Skills and Abilities:

  • Demonstrates broad knowledge in technical areas in order to properly manage complex configuration management environments.
  • Demonstrates application of technical expertise in successful engagements involving multiple disciplines.
  • Advanced knowledge of CM best practices.
  • Strong ability to ensure teams development efforts adhere to defined process.
  • Advanced ability to review and approve CM technical decisions and technical design documents.
  • Strong ability to troubleshoot and follow escalation procedures
  • Ability to lead software quality practices for development teams to include the application of best practices such as test-driven design, code reviews and automated static code quality checks.
  • Ability to prepare clear, concise, and persuasive communications for multiple audiences, including demonstrating effective writing and presentation skills, listening actively, and projecting a credible image.
  • Strong ability to listen to others, ask questions to learn from others; Is inclusive in communications with others, seeks to involve and collaborate with employees/ teams.
  • Ability to interact with onsite customer support teams for both development and production problem resolution.
  • Advance ability to collaborate effectively with the project manager to manage the technical efforts of medium to large projects as necessary.

Requirements:

 

Responsibilities:

  • Estimate test effort for automation.
  • Design/Build/fine tune the testing framework necessary to support the projects.
  • Ensure traceability back to requirements/stories via test cases.
  • Validate test preparation of environments and data and verify all teams are aligned with what needs to occur to build/prepare the test environments for functional, regression, and performance  testing
  • Review / Script automation scripts.
  • Prepare test data and conduct test data migration
  • Perform automated software tests, and communicates results to management.
  • Analyze and report on test results.
  • Facilitate the creation of the testing project schedule, testing strategy, testing plan, and other testing deliverables. Escalate testing issues to the attention of the Test Manager and business when needed.
  • Verify defects identified via automated testing are effectively recorded, communicated and understood.
  • Track/document and work to resolve all complex problems, defects or issues.
  • Report progress, status on problem resolution to management.
  • Devise improvements to current procedures and develop models of possible future configurations.
  • Act as information resource about assigned areas to technical writers and other Test Analysts.
  • Perform complex workflow analysis and recommends quality improvements.
  • Identify, create, and review test metrics

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, computer science or related fields.
  • 4 or more years’ experience as in software engineering and testing.
  • Understanding of software development and project methodologies, to include Agile.
  • Experience on a full release project life cycles, to include COTS engagements.
  • Ability to adhere to automation testing process.

  • Understanding of relational database (RDBMS) fundamentals and the impact and constraints that a RDBMS have upon automated testing activities.

Skills:

  • Demonstrated ability to perform data analysis and data validation by writing SQL queries, especially for Oracle databases. The use of PL/SQL utility or the equivalent is recommended.
  • Understanding of the SDLC, configuration management, and release cycles for an Agile project.
  • Understanding of multi-tier applications, distributed systems, interfaces, and the various frameworks that supports them.

Oracle Financials R12 Functional Consultant with expertise in SLA and Secondary Ledgers to address the needs for Local Statutory reporting requirements in various countries throughout the world. Statutory Reporting for countries outside the US. Need someone with business savvy and communications skills to work on developing a platform for Global Statutory reporting using EBS Secondary ledgers and Hyperion HFM/FPM/DRM.

 

·         Must have at least 8+ years of experience as Oracle Financials Functional Consultant

·         2+ years in R12 and MUST know R12 SLA and Secondary Ledger functionality

·         Must have experience with global rollout (specifically dealing with local in country statutory reporting requirements)

·         Knowledge of Hyperion is a must (expertise a huge plus)

·         Has a financials background prior to Oracle so they could speak at a business level

·         Excellent communications skills
